Hey i have a strange acceleration prob in my b16 crx. When im going slow in 1st and 2nd gear it seems like the car is jerking forward and back. Almost like im feathering the thottle. I have new axle is the front. What could it be? Clutch? TPS. Thanks in advance.

it probally has somthing to do with that window tint. Remove that crap and I bet the problem goes away.

 

rack end bushing could be a possibility if the steering wheel shakes a little bit, ball joints, steering box

 

do you have a motor swap? i know i have a shuddering problem becasue the mounts im using are to stiff for my application. but i can live with it

 

The tint is gay. Im taking it off when i get the spray remover.

 

take a razor blade to it. take the yellow tint off while your at it too.

 

you guys are being a great help and all with his acceleration problem telling him how ugly his tint is...

my money goes towards clutch... did you put a new one in when you did the swap?

 

Is this a new swap? JDM/USDM ? What axles did you use? What Ecu? What knuckles? Did you remove the dust ring from them? What did you use for the throttle cable bracket? Give as much info as you can and you'll get more help and less crap..

 

Its a jdm b16a. I have 90-93 integ. axles and hubs. I have not checked the dust rings, but it doesn't seem to bind. I'll take a look today. I am assuming that the clutch is stock.

 

What mounts did you use?

 

my car is doing the exact same thing. Say im coming to a light and its red so I slow down and down shift into second, light turns green so I go to push the gas and it stutters then goes. Does it in first too sometimes. I have to rev really high to take off or it will stutter

 

you have a rust spot ya kno. have you removed the thingy that causes it to rust?
