Default Let's see what I DYNO with my RMF Narrow.. :)

Vid:

Before with ITR: 190/139
After with RMF 195/134

Either the header is only worth 5hp over an ITR, or it threw my tune WAY off <-- Which is the case here...

I had to turn the VTEC engagement up to 5900, because I was losing power at 5600 where it was at with the ITR.

It seems a OBD0/VAFC setup just doesn't work with this header.

I will be going to the dyno either today sometime, or early next week.

Dynos with ITR header: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1425460

My setup is as follows:

Engine: LS/VTEC

Cylinder Head: PR3

ITR Intake Manifold
ITR Throttle Body
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
Prelude 345cc Injectors
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator w/ Fuel Pressure Gauge
Crower Dual Valve Springs
Crower Titanium Retainers
WebCams Billet Camshafts
- Intake Lift: .470" (mid)
- Exhaust Lift: .450" (mid)
- Overlap: 51.00 degrees
- Intake Duration: 272.00 degrees
- Exhaust Duration: 270.00 degrees
AEM Adjustable Camgears
RMF Narrow Header

Block: B18A1
ARP Head Studs
Flycut CTR Pistons
LS Rods
ARP Rod Studs
CTR N1 Crankshaft Pulley
Toda Flywheel

Transmission: LS S1
Competition Clutch Stage 5 4puck & Pressure Plate

Misc:
Custom 2.5” Exhaust w/ Resonator and Straight Thru Dynomax muffler
Short Ram Air Intake
Filled with RP Synthetic
BKR7E-11 Spark Plugs

Electronics:
A’pexI VAFC
Mugen PR3 ECU Program

My previous dynos with the ITR header were 190whp... I can't wait to see what power she makes now.

I'll keep you all posted.

Oh my Lord, did you just get yours?

I've been waiting on mine literally since the end of February.

I talked to Randy and he said mine should be going out shortly, though.

But anyway, back on topic.

Good luck with the new header. I hope you break 200whp. My goals are the same as yours, my friend. I think we made almost the exact same power even.

Good luck.

Soon.

I also wanted to add.. the header fit PERFECT.

Excellent ground clearance, excellent oil pan clearance.. and it works with my stock crossmember. I was amazed, this fit better than the ITR 4-1 garbage.

Sorry for shitty cellphone pics.

What's the purpose of the jet coating? Keep the heat down? Extend the life of the header? All of the above?
