Default Where is the AEmv2 intake located at?

Is it under the engine compartment..because i hear that its positioned like the CAI where i have to remove my ABS..and for some people ABS is important but i dont wanna mess with internals until i get myself a daily driver. Other than that is it positioned where the stock was or how the CAI is.. (AEM V2 Intake: Planning to buy one)

Okay, I'm not really sure what you're asking.

You should not have to mess with your ABS to install a intake, AEM V2 or otherwise. The power gains from an intake doesnt justify removing your ABS system anyways, if that's what you're thinking.

I would highly highly suggest forgetting about the AEM v2 intake and going with any (even Ebay) short ram intake. The main concern is getting a intake with a 3" diameter. Then, just use the piping with a quality filter such as AEM, Apexi, or K&N and you'll have a very good setup at a fraction of the cost of a V2 Intake.

Don't waste your money just buy a cheap one the only thing that matters is the filter.

The piping makes a difference, there was a post not to long about the dyno tests of J's and v2 and v2 was like 8hp more...

exactly...this is why aem sells intakes for specific applications..unless youre buying some made for another model, then youd need to remove things
