I wonder if the rear main seal leaking would cause a transmission to slip (manual or auto....)??

rear main leaks on a manual tranny equipped vehicle would cause the clutch to chatter everytime you release the clutch pedal.

leaks from the rear main on an auto tranny wouldnt do much but "leak."
so no it wont cause it to slip.
