HELP!! Cant push clutch pedal down after tranny rebuild.
I just did a tranny rebuild and also replaced my throwout bearing. The clutch was engaging fine before the install but now that everything is back together, I cant push down the clutch pedal more than about 1-2”. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be, im hoping I don’t have to take the tranny back off.
I know the slave cylinder is ok because I replaced it with a good one.

dont worry the trans has nothing to do with you not being able to push the clutch pedal down. as speedworks mentioned to check the t.o, along with inspecting the fork (bent) and diaphragm springs on the pressure plate.
The clutch was working correctly prior to the TO bearing being replaced so the fork should be fine...
How can the TO bearing not be slid over the collar correctly?

Maybe if you did not have both of those little tabs on the t.o bearing pushed on the shift fork all the way...
