Default Switching from dsm 450s to precision 780s = clips dont fit?

I am switching to precision 780cc injector (p/h) from DSM 450 injectors. I already have it wired and all but for some reason i cant get the clips to go into the new injectors. I think there is a weird notch on the injector the clip doesnt have.

Should I just try and notch the clip or is there a different clip i can get that plug and plays?

thanks

there is a tab inside the clip you need to take off. Use an exacto knife and take it out.

yea its on the inside of the injector plug, what would be the back side away from the motor when they are installed. i used a swiss army knife, it comes out easy. the dsm have that little tab thing too, perhaps yours were aready modified
