does anybody know how to pass a k20 motor in an eg?

 

Can't be done.

You'll have problems with the immobilizer, return fuel lines, etc.... search!

But hey, if you have the money, go for it.

 

I've yet to here of anyone successfully passing a k20 legitly. because of the reasons jedi said. I believe if you go to bar it you need to have a lot of work put into it before it'll even come close to passing. I'd just drop a stock(or similar) motor in for the smog test and put the K in afterwords. Or another option is to just find a shopp willing to look the other way.

 

my gsr in my hatch passed smog check yesterday and it has i/70 mm tb/im/h/2 1/4 exhaust piping with no cat

yeah, everyone passes with no cat. i smell bullsh*t. i bought my car with D16Y7 and no cat, i got DIRTY gross polluter, no need to bs us to sound cool, this is a tech forum...
