How to get a stock tach into a CX hatch???
yeah just buy an ex, si manual gauge cluster for a 7.2 redline, or the dx for the 6.8 redline which is what i have in my 94 cx. Both max out at 9k. They plug right up.
The whole cluster comes out as a whole. the gas, speedo, temp gauges all come out as one piece. When i say get an ex, si or dx gauge cluster i am talking about the whole instrument panel or as i and many others call gauge cluster.
well i know your cx as a up shift lite so there is a tach signal. But yeah everything is wired already. Like i said i just bought a dx gauge cluster plugged up the plugs in the back and everything is golden.

It's pre-wired. All you need is a gauge cluster with a tachometer (found in VX, LX, EX, and Si models). It is a plug-and-play swap - the tach will work.

Basically buddy you're trading your ENTIRE gauge cluster (speedo, thermo, everything) for a new one with a tachometer on it.

DXs didn't come with tachs. LXs did.
