when wiring up the subwoofers to the subwoofer box...connect all the positive terminals of the subs to the positive terminal of the subwoofer box, then connect all negative terminals of the sub to the negative terminal of the subwoofer box...in your case since your pushing that amount of power i suggest 16 gauge speaker wire for this part...next wiring the subwoofer box to the amp...there should be 4 terminals total for power output for the amp (2 positive and 2 negative)...you are going to use the two outer terminals ( the outer positive and negative) connect the positive from the subwoofer box to the outer postive output on the amp and connect the negative from the subwoofer box to the outer negative output on the amp therefore bridging the amp (do this part preferably with 12 gauge speaker wire...as for your setup hitting hard in your car, that depends on your subwoofer box design and what frequency you tune the box...as for power with this setup you are under powering your subs...i checked the specs of your sub...they each start off at 400 watts RMS...with the amp you are only pushing 300 watts RMS per sub...sorry no pictures...if there is anything else....just ask....

my question now is will this be a safe setup? and since i am underpowering the subs will that make a big difference. i dont see that much in 100w less but i can be wrong. also these are 4omh subs if i was to wire them in pariell it would be a 1omh load and will my amp handle this?

thanks

are there any links to puting this stuff togerher?

your amp is not 1 ohm stable...it wouldn't be good...so i don't suggest it...you should get an amp that has a higher RMS rating and at the same time that is also 1 ohm stable...try getting a mono-block amp...

wire the subs in series/parallel, which will give you a 4 ohm load. Should give you more choices with amplifiers.

Yeh thatll work.
Itll put out less power, assuming that 600x2 is rated at 2ohm,which most are.
Prolly be around 125-150watts goin to each speaker if u use that amp.Itll get them moving, but way short of their rms.
I would get another amp, prefer. a 1ohm stable amp and wire it parllel/parellel.
Hifonics,Planet Audio,Lanzar....to name a few on the cheaper side but still very solid amps.

now my question is if i use this amp and sub combo do you think it will hit or am i wasting my time? i want a system that hits hard. i was also thinking of using PYRAMID PB536GX. is this a better amp ? and will it make my subs hit harder?

You could put that amp on it and itd sound ok,but ur still around 300watts from giving it its reccommended power.
Why are u stuck on Pyramid?Theres much better amps out there.
Me personally i wouldnt waste my time puttin that system together.Get a bigger amp.And youll be much more satisfied.

I concur. Audiobahn and pyramid are some of the worst brands out there. You can get much better subs than the audiobahns for about the same money.

I would save up a lil more and than do it right.
But if u have to you could use the subs, thats not really the biggest concern for me.
But please get a new amp,if u can use that $250 on just another amp itd be a big improvement.

audiobahn has some good **** out there...their higher end stuff is not that bad...their immortal and eternal series subwoofers are pretty good...i've heard them...i do agree with you on pyramid...i beg to differ on audiobahn though...thats my 2 cents on the topic so...

i agree with you on that...saving a bit more money and doing right the first time rather than spend a little first then spend some more later to re do the system...
