i had a problem with my tach and speedo. i switch clusters and that got rid of the speedo problem. but my tack still does the same ****.

after 4-5 k it goes up and down randomely and i can hear vtec pop in and out.
also i have been having some misses lately. at low rpm.

iv had oil on my plugs before. so i dont kow if thats contributing to the misses? it did in the past.

but what must i do to get the tach workin.

1 more thing. both the dizzy power and tach signal wires are hacked and taped.
i have a extra crx ignitor laying around if thatsa the problem but would it work?

 

Check the ground on the thermostat housing and make sure it is tight.

 

cheked its tight!!

it has a bunch of grounds going to it right>

 

switched the ignitor for a crx one and i fixed up the wires. the tach works now!!!

however im still gettin the misses in the low end!! im going to get some new spark plugs and tube seals today.

ALSO MY transmission is making whining niose. i know it was loosing fluid before? is that the cause? it also started to grind a lil
