Default bad shock??

i am running apex lowering springs on my 00 si. the front tires are slightly tucked, but no much. but the passenger side is up a little more with some inner fender wheel rub on the wheel well shroud. could this be due to a worn out shock? the car drives normal and handles great. i dont think this is my problem but could be a possibility.

No it's most like that your just too low. The shocks do slow down the wheel movement, but not enough to keep it from hitting the liner. That is the job of the springs...

You can tell if a shocks blown by looking for oil leaking down the body. You will also know when the car continues to bounce on smooth road after hitting a bump. Thats because the shocks are not stiff enough to control the motion of the spring...

ok thanx. ya the car shows no bouncing, and there is no oil leaking from the shock. i was just confused cuz the driver side doesnt rub, and has slightly more wheel gap( not nticable). maybe the springs are weakening.
