Ok i have had this on going problem, i put headers on my b16 everything was fine then about a week later my car started running shitty and threw CEL 1 for the o2. I put a used o2 on, still didn't work, then i got a sohc 4 wire o2, it's brand new i got it for free im running a tuned pr4 computer, do i have to run a twin cam o2 for it to work correctly also on warm days the car runs perfect but still throws a code.

I don't believe there is a difference between the SOHC and DOHC O2 sensors. As long as it's 4-wire you should be good.

You reset your ECU right?

 

all four wire o2 sensor's are the same. just reset you ecu after you do the o2 swap.

 

ok i reset the ecu that was a dumb move i forgot to do that, but its still throwing CEL 1 and CEL 68 which is a ghost code, im getting pissed i dont want to buy a o2 sensor right now but if i was positive it would work i would get one.

 

why dont u go back to where u got the ecu done and tell him it keeps throwing the ghost code.. and see if he can fix ur o2 problem
