okay so i have come across some extra money and want to show some love to the hatch.

i have a oem rebuilt ls block with a b16 head and tran. all stock.
just and intake, dc headers and exhaust.(chipped p28ecu)

now what should i get next for my engine?
i have about $500 tospend and i will do the install.

Get some ARP rodbolts installed.

Or, stick with the stock LS revlimit and spend money on boltons.

 

oh i forgot it's got the arp rod bolts. that was the only aftermarket item on the rebuilt.

so what next???
cams?
camgears?

 

Are you still using the LS slugs? Cams would be a waste, because your lacking compression.

 

Mill the head and use a 2 layer HG. Flat valves would help as well..
Then run some Type R cams.

You need more compression to make power.
