Default Turbo kit or scrap together a kit

just like the title says. if it would be better to piece one up, what parts exactly do i need, everything from injectors to gauges? im trying to put as must boost safely on a 94 gsr block with stock internals. any info?

Manifold & Downpipe = ~$700
GT28RS Turbo - $999
Intercooler - ~$250
IC Piping - ~$70
RC 440cc - $300
Tial WG - $200
Ebay BOV - $30
Chipped ECU - $185..

make your own kit, for the price you can pick and choose the parts, and can get some used stuff also. A decent manifold, down pipe, dump tube, can run like 700 and up and a decent turbo can run you from 350 used- 750 + new, but you get the turbo you want. Everything else can be scrounched together used or new depending on the price. tial wastegate, BOV, injectors, and ECM can be purchased from several HT members or ebay. after that put it together and boost. Ebay intercoolers are good and are stupid cheap like 80-170 depending on the size

its not about the amount of boost. it is the hp that breaks things. search some more and you will see why....here is an example

8lbs on a t25 you might make 240 hp....and nothing is going to break witha good tune

now you bolt on a big t3/t4 or something like an sc61 on 8 lbs and once you start makeing over 300 hp then you will be more likely to break something....however that block should be pretty safe at 300hp
