You could do it. Just take it to a fab shop or exhaust shop.

However, I'm assuming the spoon n1 is a bit less then 3'' probably less than 2.5''(not sure just guessin) so it def. wouldn't be as efficient as a full 3'' exhaust from kteller

im having the same dilema. wanna go 3" but dont really wanna get rid of the spoon n1. unfortunately its only like 60mm (2.38") so its gotta go. general rule of thumb is you never wanna go smaller as you go down the exhaust stream.

i dunno how much of a restriction it would be but it def would restrict flow. magnaflow has a few mufflers that arent much bigger than the spoon muffler. i have been lookin at their 3" in/out 6" round body muffler. the n1 is like 5" with the 2.5" tip. they are kinda similar.

just say bye bye to the spoon n1 and sell it to recover some of your loses. you should get a decent price for it anyways.

why dont you just keep your spoon n1 and just get a electric cutout when you need to run full blast....

The muffler itself is still 60mm inside, so it'd be pretty pointless to go from 3" piping to 60mm muffler.

LMAO, lets say your downpipe is 3 inches, and the rest of your exhaust is smaller, you can put a electric cutout, or a y-pipe in the downpipe and open that up when you wanna run 3 inch at the track or on the street and close it when you wanna run quiet with your spoon. Its controlled by a switch inside. Check out QTP performance or DHM or something like that. I run full 3 inch dp and k teller with vibrant muffler with resonator and its not too loud at all, sounds mean as hell....
