it seems like a decent alarm, but keep in mind u still need to use kill switches. an alarm will not stop a theif.

also ebay has that same alarm for $170 shipped. if you feel confident in installing it great!!!!!!!!if not im sure you can get it installed for around $100.

mine is not autostart. but what they might do is install it. then it wont work till you disable you neutral safety switch. im not sure, i never thought about that.

worst case scenerio, they install everything except the remote start. then you will either have to find another shop to install it or try it your self

are you talking about just a starter kill? if so most alarms come with that. theives have no trouble getting around that. i would definetly recommend installing your own kill switches. most of the time a would be theif could trace back from the alarm brain to the wires that were spliced into

Most shops will not install a remote start in vehicle that is not equipped with an automatic transmission. I had to have a backyard guy do it for me. I never park my car in gear unless I am on a hill so I have no worries. I only use the remote start in the morning to warm the car up and its in the driveway on flat land. Good investment and I love the turbo timer! I have an Avital alarm which is from the same Directed Electronics
