HELP: Car Shaking Real Bad.
Hello HT members. I'm new here to this board and my friends call me Garfield I drive a 00' FBP SI. I'm having some real bad problems with my car shaking atm.
It all started yesterday when I was driving on the highway at around 80mph beside a SUV and a MAXIMA. The MAXIMA had tried to get into my lane right beside me while I was next to the SUV. I was about to get sandwiched in between the SUV and MAXIMA, I had honked the horn and everything but it still didn't get that MAXIMAs attention. So, I had no choice but to slam on the brakes and jerk my car to the left pulling me behind the SUV which cause a shitload of dust to fly into the air. When all that happend, I had heard my left axle snap. I started to accelerate again back up to normal speed and the car started to shaking violently. I pulled the car over checked my brakes and tires to see if anything had happend to them but everything is fine. I just changed my brakes, passenger side axle and also got new tires about 2-3 weeks ago.
The car violently shakes while the car is in motion, acceleration, and slowing down. I just changed my driver side axle today and the shaking isn't as violent anymore but it still shakes real bad. Do anybody have any idea of what the problem can be?
Thanks in advance HT members.
