I think it's a nice thing to have IF you're the passenger. So I don't think it would be much of an investment for me. Unless I head down to the garage everytime i rent a new DVD

I have Playstation 2 and a TV in my R and yes, it's a bitch to install - make sure you know what you are doing. Are you planning to run an inverter or a selector to switch from say CD to Radio to Playstation to Video? I recommend that.

My riders enjoy the widescreen that I have in my R.

Last rider said "OMG that was an awesome movie."

I said, "movie? huh? Dude........uh, that's the windshield!"

Any car you race is a race car '
...and i find nothing more ironic than playing GT3 while you're sitting IN a Type R....spend the money on a track day.

some fold outs, you need to remove the ash trey area and have it come out and fold from there. i have a screen that comes out from under the radio where the old cubbie area was. personally, the only times i've ever used mine is on long trips for the passanger. i think i could have spent the money elsewhere, but i couldn't pass up the deal i had on it. clarion tvx5653 btw

How bad is the drain on the battery if the car isn't on?

If you can afford it, by all means go for it. Video and navigation in a car is always nice to have. Let's say you stop by a shop a want to check out some new goodies for your car, but you have your girlfriend with you. You can tell her to go watch a DVD. Navigation is also nice because you'll pretty much never have to look at a map again.

Get a Kenwood KVT911DVD. AM/FM/CD/DVD touchscreen TV tuner.

if you are running a fold out screen w/cd player, the screen has to go on top. Sometimes the shifter gets in the way, but you'll get by

If your gonna do it....do it this way(the way I did it...save's money and lookes mint)

Grab a PS2....mount that in the passenger side foot well..it can hang from the top of the well, pure stealth no one will know it's there...and yes there's sufficient leg room still. Then..this is where it gets customized, gut the whole center console part of the dash, take out the cigarette lighter and ashtray. Move your deck down there, to the very bottom, it will fit. Then grab a LCD monitor approx. 300 for a 7 inch, in will fit right above your deck. Do all the gutting of the dash yourself, the rest will have to be done by someone who know's there ****. your looking at around 200-300 for the install but in the end it's cheaper than a fold out monitor style and you'll be able to play PS2...and the monitor will be low enough that it will remain visible in daylight hours, and cops cant see it.

TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!!!

If you want one, get one. I had one in my R.
Looked like this initially:

Now looks like this cause someone wanted it more than I did:
