Problem with the distributor plugs for my engine swap
I'm putting in a jdm 96 itr motor into my 2000 civic hatch and reusing my d series wiring harness.
The problem I'm having is that the d series wiring harness does not fit my b series distribtor plug. How do I go about solving this problem?

that's weird. since it's a OBD2 harness into an OBD2 distributor.
anyways: i ran into a similar problem when i re-used my '98 DX harness on an OBD1 B-series dizzy. You should see that both the harness and the distributor have the same color wires coming out of them. What i did is cut the harness and the distributor wires and just match them up with crimping tools. they worked like a charm. now that being said, i don't suggest crimping at all because after two years my crimp points are getting weak due to heat/dirt/oil. blah. I highly suggest you solder the wires. Pick up the soldering tools from Radioshack for a relatively low price if you can't get a hold of one from a friend or something. it's worth it to solder all your connections when re-using the DX harness. I've learned my lesson.
