ALWAYS use the original compensator and control arms from your own car.

I vote for ^ (Targa250R)

There are a multitude of problems that enter the picture once you start swapping parts. For a 96-00 Rear Disc Conversion, you want to keep as many of the original arms as possible. This will help manage the changes to your car's Alignment, knowing that only your Trailing Arm (or, even better, just swapping your Spindle) has changed.

The Comp Arm/Chassis connection is adjustable. Once you disconnect it, you guarantee your Alignment will be off. Unless you place the Threaded Washer in that little hole in the exact same spot, at the exact same angle, your Alignment will be off. Lastly, this could happen to you...

But don't take all this to mean that your Alignment will be perfect because you're only swapping the Trailing Arm. You could have bent connection points, or something else in play that has changed things.

Since you have a 97 DX, the best thing to do is emulate the EM1. I wrote this up last night, and while it's not 100% applicable to YOUR car, it DOES have a listing of OEM PNs for the 99-00 SI Rear Disc Brake System...
