skunk2 stage 1 cam
AEM intake
skunk2 intake manifold
4-1 header
apexi ws II exhaust
uberdata
msd ignition
w/o power steering and a/c

4) E-Racing/Bench Racing/Guess my 1/4 or HP
There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.

7) If youre post doesnt help the guy, dont post at all.

Tsukasa, the setup you described is not really going to get you much hp out of the Single Cam. We build alot of SOHC engin setups and the only way to really liven up these motors is if you start doing headwork and increase the compression on the bottom end. While you do need Bolt ons like you mentioned to make the whole combination work, Basic intake, header and exhaust is not going to make a huge difference. Its good enough for regular street driving, but it is nothing close to a competitive or significant change from stock.

You have to get a little more aggressive than that to make a significant change.

Thank you, thats what I thought. To be honest I've been seriously considering an edelbrock turbo, however I would like to see an N/A D16 build, I'm a little new to all-motor mods and was wondering how much a port polish might cost and also how much work is gonna go behind a DIY compression up

it all depends on what your goals are. IF you are looking at a competitive drag setup or something to match built B-series. The All Motor sohc is not the simplest engine to build. But if you are into the single cam and really want to work on that, anything is possible. As far as prices, B and D series parts costs very similar. Certain D series services and prices are a bit less, but its very little difference and everything is pretty much equal in price.

on the other hand, a turbo d16 is very easy to do and can make alot of power. IF you are going to get a kit, I would get something else other than the Edelbrock. That kit doesnt leave you much room for upgrading. For the same price a REV HARD turbo kit has the good stuff plus if you want to go bigger turbo, etc or change BOV or Wastegate, its easier to do with that kit.
