i know that not alot of people know me on here, but i figured id post it up anyway.
here is a link to my setup:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1468119
and a link to the vegas numbers:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1543048
well i finally got a clean run on some slicks..
here are the results:
here is the run:
r/t - 2.047 (i like to take my time
)
60' - 1.817 (on 22x8 slicks on ls mesh rims)
330 - 5.195
1/8 - 7.940
mph- 90.30
1000- 10.317
1/4 - 12.314
mph - 113.16
this was my second time EVER on slicks, so with more seat time im hoping i can get it alittle lower.
the times above were done if FULL street trim w/ slicks), full interior, full exhaust, and only coilovers as far as suspension goes
myself and servion build this motor in my garage in late 04.
broke the motor in on ~ 8psi and never looked back.
servion has done ALL the tuning
i would highly recommend servion for any tuning!
also thanks for all the track tips too, since most of my experience is on the street
HUGE thanks to Alexi, Jarrod, Jason, and all the AGTurbo crew here in vegas,
they helped me with the slicks and are always down to go with me to the track (even if they arent racing! ) driving tips etc etc.
Thanks to Servion for the tune
even know i give Juddi (702racergirlie on HT) $h!t about the sohc stuff, its all in good fun.
thanks again to everyone that has helped me with answering questions, hooking me up with parts, letting me use tires, jacks, etc etc.
special thanks to the people that have given me great service:
Turboelements
streetrays
Kteller
AF performance (before they were AF performance
)
wired speed (back in the day)
importsprts in denver for the dyno
and im sure im missing other people,
and a huge thanks to all the people on honda-tech that are actually helping people
ps,
ill be adding all this stuff in the next month:
a equal length manifold,
a .63 turbine
3in DP
3in exhaust
cam, springs retainers
cam gear
750 injectors.
new clutch
here is a pic of the car:
thanks SynTeg

run some 24.5" slicks, i know you can lose with 22's and all, but they are too small for those HP #'s. Props on 12s with a single cam slammer, 11s are around the corner...

i didnt think i had traction issues.
if i went 12.3 @ 113, and you went 12.1 @ 116, that seems like im on pace .. i would think.
what was your 60 ft ?
Ls1 FD3s - i need some wheel studs to run the 24.5 that are at the shop
i was getting through the traps ~ 500-800 rpms before the top of 4th on the 22's
once i get my final tune ill get with john and see what size he recomends, maybe ill even buy my own set of slicks

Good job man. Nice times for a full weight and interior street car!
I am anxious to see the results after you get the new stuff on. Should be sweet.
I am going with a 57trim T3/T04E .63a/r setup myself, got rid of the Greddy kit! My setup should be complete in the next month or so too.

sounds very very familiar
i may end up gutting it, depending on the times i get on the final tune.
it doesnt see to much street time anymore, but it is still a street car.
im finally realizing you can either have a quick true street car, or a fast streetable car (d series), kinda hard to have both

slicks drive them self

nice times man. did you weigh the car at the track??
those 22s are killing it for you. at least 23s but preferrably 24.5s would work great on your setup.
i cut a 1.7 in the 60' on 23s and i was still bogging a little off the line... my car is at 2180lbs w/ me in it.
my traps were somewhat low b/c of a boost leak but w/e...
id like to see better times outta your setup man... you are one of my sohc inspirations.
btw, buy your own slicks, it gets addicting (at least for me it did).

Nice times!
I'm still working on getting my SOHC into the 12's on pump gas tune. It has it in it. Just need a little more seat time, then it's on to the race gas tune.

i honestly dont know what i wiegh.
everytime i am at the track , the scale seems to be closed
i am pretty much full wieght though.
whatever a 94 dx wieghs, minus ~30lbs for the a/c that i pulled out.
since im borrowing the slicks i cant complain that they are to small
once i make the final power, ill be looking to get some 24.5x8.5 ish slicks.

this is on 100 octane (which is readily available at the pump here in vegas

even with my next round of upgrades, i think ill be able to stay on 'pump gas'

Nice. There are 1 or 2 stations in the Tampa Bay area that sell 100 octane. It's not very available though. My 'pump gas' is 93 octane. I'll be running some C16 for my race gas tune.

so where these times ran on the 25psi that was in the dyno graph?
i ran a 12.9@104 on 12psi with the same turbo...im going to run 100 octane "pump gas" (yea we have it at the pump here) and 20psi in 2 weeks (the next time imports are allowed at teh local track)
im hoping for real similiar times as you...same turbo, same size slicks and in a full weight 4dr.
good times
