I replaced my daylight bulbs on my 03 DC5 and it was a bitch!!! I didnt know i hadf to take off the power steering pump to get to that bulb and that spring in the back of the bulb is such a bitch.....

My question is would it be easier to just take my whole headlight off to replace my highbeam bulbs?

not for your high beams, they are one of the easiest to reach, imo..

edit: the springs in the back are x clips. they were confusing for me too the first time, but you get use to them

 

when i had to change my low beam bulbs.. i took off my front bumper and removed both of my headlights

it's was such a hassle putting back the front bumper by myself

 

u just have to get used to it, there's no need to take off the whole headlight assembly or the bumper to change the bulbs..
