AEM V2 intake
does anyone know how good this intake is vs a regular AEM intake. also would i need to buy a bypass so as to not ruin my engine by sucking up water or anything

they say its alittle better but an intakes an intake
if you want a name brand go with AEM and just get the reg, cold air
but you could also just go buy a no name cold air off of ebay and a good filter and youd be set
the bypass i wouldnt get unless you got alot of water where you live

I got an AEM V2 for my 98 prelude. It is not installed down the fender well like an ordinary CAI. Therefore, you don't need to buy the water bypass valve. I have not seen much difference in performance, but I'm a complete noob. If I had the time and money, I would purchase the regular Cold Air Intake with the water bypass valve and replace my V2. It would have access to the cooler air outside the engine compartment, rather than being suffocated by the hot air under the hood.
