Who has passed emissions with a JDM d15b?
It's my understanding that the p28 doesn't particularly like the JDM d15 for full time action and performance. At least that's what I've heard from a few owners.
Now, I'm pretty sure the P08 isn't going to be emisions-friendly right out of the box, and given the high prices these things already, it hardly seems worth it from an emissions stand point.
My question is this: Have any of you used a non-chipped or tuned p28 (or any other virgin ECU) on a d15 and had success getting passed the sniffer? Now when I say pass, I mean legit pass. Not by knowing someone who knows someone or paying for a 'hook up'.
I couldn't find any relevant info regarding this topic in searches.

I passed emissions with JDm d15b and p08. I used that gauranteed to pass stuff from pep boys, and used a friends valve cover that didnt say "Vtec".

The tolerances between state to state vary so much this will be to userful.
However, have passed with D15 and ZC vtec in MD with P08 and P28 virgins. Even with OBD1 PR3. Have once tired with P28 chipped, failled greatly -swapped ECUs and turned around without leaving parking lot -almost had to force the guy to re-test as he said "nothing you could have done that quick would make difference"; well it passed right about middle with most of the testing, something (can't remember) was was close to boarder, but it all passed with stock P28.
