Default anybody have a picture of an empty engine bay of an EG civic?

I just bought a 1994 Si hatchback and I think there is something missing from the engine bay. could someone take a picture of their empty engine bay? like is there supposed to be a bar going through the middle of it? like under where the engine is supposed to go?

I thought there was supposed to be one but my friend claims that their isn't supposed to be one I dunno since I have never hada civic but my integra had one. So please! let me know haha and thank you.

oh and if there is a bar there what is it called so that I can go buy one haha.

not too sure but this is the only picture i have of my hatchback with an empty engine bay. the motor is off the car and was just still on a dollie... i circled what i 'think' is the bar you're talking about but i may be wrong.

oh ok so there is no bar coming from under the radiator to the back of the engine bay?

ok so fms1day you have the motor under the car right there? in my integra there was a bar that would have stopped you from lowering the engine out of the car (well of course you could just take it out). So I guess I am asking did you have to take a bar that goes from under the radiator support to the back of the engine bay to get the engine out like that.

No bar under the engine.

if you disconnect all the hoses, wires, exhaust and remove the axles, the motor will drop right out

No bar but if you want one take it from an Integra. I did and noticed a nice little difference in turns. This is only for 92-95, 96-00 dont have this option.

oh no that is not the bar that I am speaking of I think I have that just not installed.

I don't think the civics come with what I am talking about. the bar that I am talking about screws in under the radiator support and goes all the way to the back of the engine bay so it is going from front to back of the engine bay not left to right.

my integra had one but I guess the civic doesn't because it should have been in that diagram I think.

this was a 1992 LS sorry I can't post anymore cuz trial users can only post 5 times a day.

I have no idea what bar you're talking about. I helped someone do a swap earlier this year in a '97 LS and there was no bar running from the core support to the firewall, if that's what you mean.
