Since there are more (true) car lovers here than anywhere else, I though it would be wise to give you a first shot at this thing.

While I was looking for an ITR for a track car couple of months ago..I found a friend of a friend was selling E30 M3 for around the price of 1997-1998 GSR. So I took the M3. In a process of turning it into a race car, I changed my mind and recondition it closest to the OEM as possible.

Due to an unforeseen situation, I have to let go of this E30 M3.

I was wondering if any REAL lover would like to have this E30. REMEMBER - it is going to be around the same price as 1998 GSR or cheaper. It is going to be about a month down the road, since I finalizing the recondition phase right now. This is just to test the water and forewarn that a decent E30 is going on the market soon. At this point, the chance of keeping this E30 is less than 10%.

What does the reconditioning entail?

Photos and/or vehicle history would also be more enticing for prospective buyers.

I would consider selling for higher if it is clean title and being brought back to a really good condition. E30's are very hard to find and when i see them on the classified they are usually selling for about the price of a clean title good condition ITR.

 

If you would speak numbers and not beat around the bush, you might get some more interest.

 

Do you have any pictures?? Those cars run a good premium in the BMW market when they are in good condition / restored. Post some details and pictures of the car and you'll get some more interest. I would also try the BMW boards if you really want to see.

 

Numbers? I'd like an M3 for the DD duties...

 

Does it have the 2.3L or the 2.5L engine? What year? Is it one of the Evo special edition models? What color is it? Original wheels? Interior original? What modifications will be staying with the car? I'll email you all these questions plus some to your email address.

E30 = . One of my favs. I miss my drop top '92

I know what your thinking, they changed the body style in '92. Except the drop top. It was a pretty rare car up here.
