I said I'd be back - Cobalt ss/sc pics , 56k no?
Here are some new pics:
new mod added is the AEM CAI - no pics of it tho because it only replaces the airbox and pipe behind the bumper, while retaining the stock intake tube in the engine bay
- able to remain stock looking
- dyno tested at 9whp and 7 ftlbs tq
- supercharger screams like a cobra minus the v8 rumble
- and picked it up for 51 usd on ebay - i love ebay
future mods this summer: ingalls engine damper, gm stage 2
im aware there will be alot of hate in this thread, because the honda-tech world cannot accept cars that arent skylines, supra's, or sti's, but hopefully you can find it in your hearts to accept this car
i am still anticipating a thread lock in 3 pages....
with that out of the way here we go:

thats all for now
keep the comments civilized

yea spoiler is slightly annoying when u cant see much in your rear view mirror, but ive seen de-winged cobalts and they look naked and look like base models, it definitely completes the rear end

i have a couple constructive comments:
1. Those wheels look like they weigh a ton!!
2. IMHO yellow doesnt belong on mass produced cars
3. Otherwise not bad, it takes alotta guts to post a thread on h-t about a a chevy
any engine pics?

One of my really good friends has one. I never thought the supercharger was Cobra-like. You can hear it, but it's not that loud.
Did you get one with the LSD? 1st gear traction is almost non existant. Pulls hard in 2nd and 3rd though.

1. yes they weigh a ton, changing all 4 to winters then vice versa = a workout!
2. while being a mass produced car its very rare to see another cobalt ss/sc owner on the road let alone a yellow one, i originally had a blue one lined up but the deal fell through and it was either yellow or black for me, but i didnt want another black car.
3. i posted before, but that thread was locked after a few pages because of the flame war caused by me simply posting pics which is what my introduction paragraph is all about
no engine shots, its dirty and stock

intake really opens up the blower, trust me it sounds hella louder
and no the 05 in canada did not come with the g85 package or lsd/recaro's, so yes traction hurts in 1st, but the engine damper will help fix that once i buy it

I like the performance aspect of these cars bbut for god's sake, Chevy couldn't have made it more "Boy Racer" if they tried. All tht's missing is the OEM optional underglows and sideways visor and crispy white Tee driving stunna.

Not to hate on your car, but those cars look like it's starting off as a rice machine.
The rear of my car... just...
But I bet those things are quick.
