Innovative Traction bar?!?!?
ok, well im about to purchase one of these so i can use my down pipe for my greddy kit. but first i have a few questions... when i order the traction bar do i need to order anything else with it for it to work? like those bushings they sell or w/e? also is it street legal? and is there a write up anywhere on here on how to install it? if not can someone help me out???
-thanks

mine just arrived yesterday, you CAN use oem bushings, but those polyurthane bushings will give it the effect of a traction bar. it uses stock radius rods, and appears very well made.
street legal? chances are that turbo kit you're talking about wont pass a "legit" inspection anyway, so why the concern there? actually i see you live in the midwest, theyll pass anything out there, even an open header moped with a 200 shot of nitrous, i dont think theyll give a **** about a little traction bar on your civic.
to align it seems to be the same as you would a stock car, so the guys at a local place should have too much trouble with it. also it has nice beefy tow hooks. which i really like.
i have no idea how well it works in that given configuration with poly bushings. i will know more later this month.
actually dude, you gotta check off the "achive" checkbox when you search, theres already a thread on this:

a friend of mine bought the innovative crossmember and it wasnt what i thought it would be... the piece sits incredibly low to the ground... and uses all stock ends... i much prefer my z10 or a full-race

Actually I have one and think its a great piece compared to the Innovative bar I had before. It does use the stock radius arms, which menas you know the radius arms will be a perfect fit and won't cause turning clearance issues. I also used the poly inserts (I got the caster plates but didn't use them)
The bar feels great and did get rid of the wheel hop.
Installation and fit was perfect.
It has huge tow hooks as well
It also uses a stock or half sized radiator
Hell, I really can't complain about it at all.
My only complaint is it sits a little low, but it is really no big deal, just like driving a slammed car...you get used to it.

its actually as high as it can be if you are using a 92-95 radiator. any higher and the radiator would be angled. their hi mount crossmember gives more clearance but cannot use the half size radiator

Where are the pictures that you said you were gonna get together in the last thread?

Just remember that the full race uses heims on the rear mount, which is not what you want to do if you are trying to reduce wheel hop.
