Question about suspension...
Koni yellow sport and H&R race springs = STUPID LOW (especially for canada) so i was wondering, can you buy just the sleeve part, so i could mount my H&R race springs on an adjustable perch?
Not sayin you should do it, but Ground Control sells the sleeves and nuts for Konis. Who knows if the bottom inner diameter of the H&R is big enough to fit the nut.
I guess if you tried it and it did not work you could just order the springs from GC and complete the set up.

Generally, the bottom of the spring is somewhat flat to mate with the perch. And the inner diameter of the spring fits over the sleeve and the perch is as large or larger than the outer diameter of the spring.
There is also a cap(sometimes) that centers the top of the spring on the rod of the shock.
The Ground control setup is really the only sleeve type coilover that is made to fit the Koni properly/safely IMO.

interesting but i've seen skunk2 sleeveovers on konis, as well as omnis...i dont know what to do...my car is way too low and im way broke
wouldnt suggest it because the lowering springs, with the stepped end coil wont sit properly on the adjustable perch. most lowering springs arent of the same diameter as the those found in coilover kits, i.e. ground control.
I'd keep the Koni yellows over keeping the H&R springs on your car... I love the yellows and have done them first with stock springs and then ITR springs. Now I've paired them with the GC coilovers.
