Default Clutch booster or clutch master clyinder problem

I drive a 99 prelude sh. Yesterday I was driving and the clutch lost pressure and feel all the way to the floor. I look at the master clyinder and the fluid was low so I added some and then it was fine. I didnt see any leaks near the master clyinder. I saw some fluid down near the clutch I think it is called the booster. How hard is it to change one of these things? Whatelse do I have to change. Thanks for the help!!!.

So you saw fluid in the engine bay by the brake booster(big black vacuum diaphram). Or did you see fluid on the inside running down the firewall from the clutch master cylinder.
Since you mentioned it was low, try to bleed the clutch system and go from there unless a leak was detected.
Edit: oh i think your talking about the slave cylinder( bolted to the front of the block)

It sounds to me like you are going to need a master cylinder.

Replace the slave while you're at it.

sounds like the problem i had the other weekend.

fluid leaked through the master cylinder seals, along the piston shaft past the firewall, and dripped slowly into the carpet.

i replaced the master and slave, no more problems.

59 for the master cylinder
25 for the slave cylinder
5 for the fluid

Just got done replacing the clutch master cylinder and tried to bleed it but the clutch pedal still drops down. While bleeding it doesnt build any pressure at all whatsoever.

I am thinking that the slave cylinder is gone and needs replacing. When bleeding the clutch I know it takes a long time. But when i was bleeding it didnt build up any pressure at all.

I am trying to bleed my clutch line but dont know what i am doing wrong. First to start off with my clutch doesnt have any pressure and it drops all the way to the floor. I got a bleeding kit from advance. A lil pipe and cup that is connected to each other. I connect one end of the hose to the bleed screw and the other end to the cup with fluid in it. Then i lossened the bleeder screw and pumped the clutch couple of times and next thing i knew my lil cup was full of fluid? What am i doing wrong?

Into any gear? or just certain gears?

I've got problems going from 2nd to 1st and going into R but all my others are fine. I'd like to get an answer too since we're on the topic.
