Default Piston Rings???

Well...... im rebuilding our h23/vtec from last year and now im in the market for some piston rings! I used oem honda rings last year because I had a pretty good hook up at a local Honda dealership. To make a long story short, the guy that gave me all the hook ups no longer works there and I need rings! I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Hastings piston rings or any other brand besides oem honda. I would "bite the bullet" and go buy some honda rings, but the finances went to other things on the car. Just trying to get some feedback before i spend some dough. Keep in mind this is a FRM sleeved h-series block.... thanks for the help!!!

I just put some Hastings rings in my buddy’s b16. The rings were already gapped and I didn’t even have to file them down (after checking the gaps of course). No problems with the motor. Thing runs great, and doesn’t burn any oil.
