Rear springs???
I have a question for regarding the way rear springs are made. Why are the coils so close together at the top? The front ones are not the same as th rear so why do they make it so the rear ones are closer together at the rear??
progressively wound in the rear. the spring rate changes dependent on how much the spring is compressed. generally better for comfort but still offers a higher spring rate at extremes.

no, not really. i dont find the rear always higher.

youd lower the height of the spring and raise the spring rate.

Ok, well i always find that the rear always higher than front for traction issues front stock to after market, or it maybe that i've took off so much weight from my rear.
So if i cut the top coils fromrear then i will experience a harser ride.
