Default I hate my lift, time to change

So there is a 10.8 inch gap between my 16" wheels and fenders, on both the rear and front. I dont know how this is possible, but i can fit a number ammount of large appliances in the wheel well, because of the anti-drop.

Ive lined up to tons of stock civics, which mine is a 4dr civic ex 96, and they are about 4 inches lower than i am.

Question is, can i just slap on some lowering springs? say a 1.5" drop, to even it out a bit wihtout shocks? i dont see how i would since even with a 1.5" drop, i still will be able to sleep inside my wheel well with a plasma tv and an xbox 399 combo/DVD player for ****. So how bout it?

You need to find out why your car sits up so high. After you know what the problem is, go from there.

That sounds like a serious LIFT KIT.

Where did you get your lift? Im looking for a 10 inch lift for my truck. lol Do you have interior in your car? Also, have you been in any accidents? Those could be the cause of the lift. Sport springs on stock shocks work well but not great. They will get rid of the lift but the ride wont be anything special.

A 10 inch fender gap is rediculous. There is no way that your car is supposed to be like that. Get it checked out...

Seriously. I don't even know how that is possible. That would mean you could fit a whole rotor in between your wheel and fender. Do you have any pics?

im looking for my previous post on the net. Yea something is NOT right here. And i dont know where to start look on how all 4 sides are so high up. No accidents, but yea completly strip interior. it does get better when i have 4 people in the car and a spare tire, looks really stock.

Since my car is lifted because of weight reduction, can i then get just springs? I had some very nice springs, but sold them for like 90% off because i read you need shocks, and didnt have the time and money for that, and since i have a kit......but even with a kit, I am seriously lifted to the point of deep deep depression, im oging to be alone for a while....

You have to host the file somewhere; try photobucket.com.

bro if your car is that jacked up, then you should be able to see the entire shock/spring combo, take a look and see if its stock?

oh its stock, but i acidentally painted over everything with undercoating when doing my wheel wells. My cv boots are also torn to pieces.

Not sure why its so high, because when i put a little weight in the car, its back to normal, well sorta, maybe 4 people and the spare.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm buying this. Can you take a few side profiles so that we can see what's really going on here?
