how do u get so low?
im just curious because this has been bugging me lately. im running on omni coilovers with about a little over 2 inch drop in the front and 2 inch in the back. i see these cars slammed with most of their wheels tucked. how do u guys do it without rubbing? when i had my wheels tucked, the front wheels kept rubbing the inner wheel wells whenever i would turn. i mean i never had a problem with the outer fenders or the lining. but i just cant figure out how these people can go that low and not rub.
The secret, they do rub. You can play with the offset of the wheel and find a happy medium but unless you do alot of cutting and bending, you will rub. Most guy's that do the slammed look dont know that they bump steer around every corner thinking their bad asses....lol
Of course then theres the show cars, they need no explaination.

I'm gonna have to disagree w/ you on that one, my car is as low as the coilovers will go and I have no rub. Am I just lucky or something? Full turns are no problem for me...

stock wheels, small tires (195/50-15) and no camber kit = no rubbing.
If you have a camber kit, you'll be more likely to rub or scrape the fender, since the top of the tire gets pushed out.

the other way u see cars slammed so much is because they have air bags... and it lets them lower the car really bad.... like the wheel will 1/3 under the wheel well
looks very ricey

My front are fully slammed on coilovers.
And, NO RUBBING HERE either? 205-40-17" wheels~
Full U-turns etc, and still no rub.
Like patrick mentioned above, if you get a camber kit, then thats a different story.

No rubbing here either..Im on H&R Race springs on Koni Yellows with the perches on the lowest setting. Im tuckin in the front..the rears arent tucked at all b/c the SRR LCAs kinda raise the *** a little bit.
Im running on 205/40/16 Toyo Proxies on my 16" rims. You can see its got some serious camber, but I havent had any camber wear yet. Ive had these rims/tires for about 3 months now.

yea im running on stock 195/55/15 tires with no camber kit. the thing is, when i was really tucked, i didnt rub the outer fender lining. i rubbed on the inside wheel well whenever i turned.
