What is the averaqge price to do a mini sawp(d16y7 w/ d16y8 head, tranny, intake manifold)?

Around here it's about $250 for the head, $40 for the intake mani, and $250 for the tranny. I'd say around $500-700.

 

My friend got his done for $300. He let me drive it and i couldnt tell a difference.

for that kind of money i would just get an LS swap

I agree.

LS as a daily driver would be just fine.

 

I guess ls would be a good choice

 

is there a reason you want the tranny? because it really doesnt have anything to do with the mini me idea

 

im doing mine for 295.

 

I read that the y8 tranny has shorter gears

 

head, ecu, tranny for 100 each just look around

 

i have the head for 150 if you want it
