The OEM Integra Type R LSD is a good helical design.

 

what is the price... and i know it increases stablility in both wheels... but does it prevent wheel bounce or what.. other than the powering the slipping wheel ?

 

installation is difficult ?

 

You can find a used one for about $300. The installation is somewhat difficult. You must remove everything (main shaft, counter shaft, shift forks, etc.) from the transmission to perform the installation. You also need to properly shim the differential.

I have a new one for 420 shipped, ITR LSD.
Installtion I would say a 7-8 out of 10

 

What do you want to do with your car..?

Over the years... it seems to me.. I don't need a LSD... as of right now.. I just do straight line stuff....

Make note if you launch and go in a straight line.. you will leave two black lines.... soon as you turn the slightest bit.. it'll turn into a 1 tire fire.

So if you just go out every few weeks to the drag strip.. I think you're okay without an LSD.....

Although the above price is pretty darn nice.
