Unfortunatelly not, because I was late and there were also problems with slicks, so I have to wait till next race on my track in August. I just can't wait

y0 guys! I just arrived at home. There are some very nice pics Petr! I like that one when we are under the car.
It was a day with ups and downs
1) I was able to drive a 2min 23 secs time. This is an inprovement of nearly 5 seconds to my average times the seasons before. Again, like at Salzburg Ring, the suspension upgrade to a higher spring rate, bigger slicks and the brake which is track prooved now
. The brake system does not begin to fade after some hard turns! That is realy nice now!
2) I runned 3 years copper plugs with heat range 8. Then I was recommended to use Iridium spark plugs to be on the safer side, cause on copper plugs the electrode (don't know the english word for it) sometimes break or melt off. I thought okay, I switch to this Iridium plugs to be safer. But guess what.....an Iridium plug got damaged and I had missfire above 5500rpm. First I thought on a bad dizzy, but luckily it was only the spark plug. Seems the head and valves are all good. I installed some of my old copper plugs and it runned as bad as before
Indeed I have to do some compression test, just to make sure all is 100% fine.
3) Since the guys who organized the track day wanted to make a race for 10 rounds we had to drive a qualifing, I was on 4th position with only 1 fast round, cause I had to safe on the slick-meat. Only this bad Formula car was infront (1st) a, Bi-Turbo Porsche with near 550hp (2nd) and on 3rd place there was this Caterham with 500kg curb weight and 140hp. This is soooo sticky in the corners, unbeliveable. This car was 1 tenth faster than me in qualy.
4) We had a rolling start behind the safety car and in 1st flying round it happend. A silicone hose popped off and we tried to fix it like you can see in the nice pics above. But it had'nt worked out, it came off again. I have to buy some now hoses now. Damn, that 5 usd thing is broken and the race was over for me.
5) I had some minor overheating probs which I usualy only have in summer when it is realy extreme hot. I guess this was of realy much anti freeze in the coolant system. Anti freeze is not cooling that good than water, so I changed the freeze stuff against some nice fresh water
6) The slicks are gone too, damn, what an expensive hobby

Nice pics! Good to see you in action Christian
Every time I trailer my car I usually give myself a good scare once or twice when I look in the rearview mirror and see something like that:

I'm like holy fawk where did that car come from!

lol Teg, when i road raced my old CRX that's happened to me a few times... you know, that long drive back home after a full day in the sun... feeling kind of woozy and a little tired, looking up in the rear view and seeing a car right up your *** and you get that empty gut feeling for a split second before you realize it's yours!

Yes, those are some very intersting lap times.
Occasionally some GT3 drivers show up at BSR Summit Point events and the ITR in various states of tune seem to get past them.
The only thing I can think of is that there comes a time that the Porsche driver realises that he is driving his capital, and he should slow down.

vids from Salzurgring and Brno are coming soon.
next track event: 27th May Pannonia Circuit in Hungary
Damn, I need to get some sponsorship, I can not afford ging so often to the track. The car, slicks, brake pads, fuel, etc is so expensive.
hello honda-tech....wanna sponsor me
