well im assuming if your taling about a hood or a lip thats clear coated you can use the same methods you would use to clean your car with....

so you can wax it? I was always under the impression wax wouldnt be good for it. And yea, im asking for a hood I have.

Ive had mine buffed, waxed, etc....and it has never really had any problems, the only problem ive had with my VIS is the bubble effect that some people have also got where it looks like you have all these little dents in your hood, but if its cleared I dont see why you wouldnt be able to wax it

there was some stuff on here that someone used i THINK it was called "Marine Fiberglass cleaner/polish"

The best thing to do is always use a pressure washer. This will help lift dirt and grim without leave a swirl effect.

The next thing would be to hand wash it periodically, this should be done off the car. While the hood is off the car hand wax it.

but the most important thing is to use a quck detailer after every wash.

SOAP AND WATer and sometimes a wash rag but if i want to get detailed i use a spong or you can get creative and think of your owns ways like me
