Default Steering wheels.

Hey people,

I'm thinking of buying a new steering wheel and ditching the stocky, so I'm jus curious to know (for people who have aftermarket s.wheels) in regards to comfort and visual aspects (preserving a JDM stylish accent) what would be my ultimate choice.? Make and model of wheel, post some pics too if you'd like. Thanks!

A clean JDM ITR wheel feels good and looks nice as well

for after market the spoon or mugen wheels are nice as well

That's true, now just a question, what are your feelings towards Bride wheels? There are some some nice Universal one's on ebay for a relatively good price. Leather and hints of silver. Opinion(s)?

I would also go with a JDM wheel as well, and it lets you retain your airbag so you won't have any inspection problems incase you have to deal with that.

That sounds like a good idea too, what are your views on Bride* in specific.

What do you think about this wheel in particular, and i'd have to do a matching shift ****, stainless.

Don't really know anything about aftermarket steering wheels especially that one.

But is that even a real Bride wheel, never heard of Bride making steering wheels before, and at 40 bucks with shipping it seems kind of odd.

It does seem somewhat peculiar, but maybe it'll increase in price as 1 or more bids occur, personnally, as long as it looks nice feels nice and is of good quality I'll be satisfied. Everything seems to be normal for that wheel, I'm just curious about Bride's reputation in regards to steering wheels and as to wether or not it's Ricey i have no clue.

http://tees-usa.com/welcome.html

According to their site, which i think is their official one, they don't even have any steering wheels under their products page.

I would look into a Momo, Sparco, Nardi, Personal. Look in the sponsor section they offer some really good deals on some steering wheels.

Also, do some more research on these wheels, like which material would be better, i.e. leather, suede, wood grain. And also they come in different sizes 320mm, 330mm, 350mm. Try to see which you would like more in comfort and also different material affects wear, because i think the suded ones wear out quicker.

Edit - i dont think the price is really going to go up on that one cause the buy it now is only 20 bucks. But whatever, its up to you if you like it then thats all that matters.

don't waste your money on that fake steering wheel. There's a vendor on here that sells Personal steering wheels starting at like $100.

I dont generally buy parts off of ebay like that because they are usually fake

I would honestly rather buy a momo or an OEM wheel off if honda-tech

the JDM ITR wheels with air bags are a good $400 and are quite bulky

the JDM ITR non-srs feel quite nice and are half the price of the SRS wheel, I am personally about to buy one because I love the feel and look of them, aftermarket wheels have exposed metal areas that arent quite comfortable to grab onto because I touch the steering wheel all over and sometimes turn wtih the connectors or rest my arms on them on long drives

Just to make sure you do know that you need a hub to attach the aftermarket steering wheel to the car. And some people do want the quick release mechanism as well.

Thanks for the links man, i'm aware of the necessity of the Hub. Quick release seems pretty nice, works as a nice theft deterant. I'm not to fond of the Nardi look, not exactly what I'm going for. Sorry Nardi dealer.

Just got GSR blads im pretty stoked... and got my nasty rear tint removed. Go with a and smaller steering wheel though. It makes driving more fun and actually feels like it handles better, quicker steering response, but thats just me.
