help... b16a2 obd1, ecu code 14

i'm having a problem with my swap, ecu is throwing code 14, Idle Air Control(IAC) Valve. i'm using my stock 97 dx harness w/ skunk2 obd2-obd1 harness

The first guy that answered is totally correct.
Your DX engine wiring harness has the IACV (Code14) wire attached to pin A14, and the adapter has the wire attached to pin A12. You have to move the wire on the engine harness from socket A14 to socket A12. The connector that you should concern youself with is the one that plugs into your adapter in the car. This connector has 32 pins. It is the biggest of the 3 connectors. If you look at the connector from the side that the wires are on, and with the release tab at the top, the 2nd row of pins is A12 to A24. You need to move the wire from A14 (the 3rd one in from the left) to A12 (the first position on the 2nd row).
Do this, and your code 14 will be gone, and the car will idle much better when the engine is cold.

YEAH!!! it worked... no more check engine light. thanks for lookin out man. although i couldn't get the a14 pin out, me and my friend just spliced the a14 black wire from the engine harness and connected a wire to the a12 wire of the convertion harness. it works ok. my car idles much better it also runs better. next is my suspention...
