stock axles..Hp?tq?
im wondering what kind of HP/tq can a stock axles hold? my set up is a b20vtec,not tune and dyno yet,but hoping for 230-240 hp. will be running full slicks.this is a drag application.searched and found some but no exact answer im looking for.
Search again. I've seen 600+hp on stock axles. It all depends on how you drive. Dont launch too low and preload the tranny and you'll be fine. Good luck

another thing to consider is tires and clutch
if the clutch grabs real hard your gonna have to practice that pre-loading
also tires, i know from experience street tires like bfg's and such are alot harder on drivetrain systems then slicks .....as you can see from street stock in nhra alot more people breaking shafts there...for example

9's here with stock axles on our gsr hatch...running 25's and 26's
on the h22...thats another story...snapped the intermediate shaft instead of the axle on 26's
axles lasted on 25's for 2 season until i went to 26's. 550-615whp range.
