I have a 2006 S.. Should i get headers or exhaust first?

Use that money for some track time. Header/Exhaust/Intake will net you almost nothing in the performance dept, whereas actual driving skills you'll learn at the track/auto-x is priceless.

if you still say "HEADERS" and not "A HEADER" when refering to the s2000, then you should browse this site more before you make a decision about anything.
how much money are you looking to spend? a header can cost you anywhere from 300$ - over 1,400$.

Does anyone make an exhaust that fits the 06 without modification yet? Better check before buying.
Currently available headers will fit no problem. If you get a decent header (Toda or J's) along with the Hondata ECU flash (only available on the 06) you can see some decent gains (see Hondata website).

not that im aware of. im really not sure why they won't fit up. something about the exhaust piping, its bent different or some crap like that.

i think comptech had an AP2 exhaust system.
*it was 00-03 then 04-05. i thought i saw it 00-05 then 06. yeah, good luck finding one. go to a decent exhaust shop and make sure they do mandrel bends and have them weld flanges and stuff so its like ia real cat back. hopefully...haha.
