lol should've known better than to get your car painted there. i rather rattle can my car.

 

my car was painted by earl scheib before i came in possession of it...

that is the worse ******* paint job ever...overspray everywhere...didn't paint under the ******* mudguards

 

i got my beater corolla--which had very badly faded oem paint--repainted there last year for like $200.

it came out pretty decent, and i was satisfied with what i got. it could have used a good wetsanding, but i wasnt expecting a showroom finish for $200. they also took out a sizeable dent in my rear quater panel. i had a bit of overspray here and there, but nothing horrible.

they are franchises, so i really is hit or miss with them. you just have to look at the quality of work each one produces. i looked at the cars they had painted before i took my car there, and to tell you the truth my car would have came out better if i had spent a little time doing the prep myself. that is what they usually suck at doing. sorry to hear it was not a good experince for you...

 

if your gonna take yer car to some budget place then strip the car yourself cuz all these places are production paint places and only mask and do not remove unless you pay extra.

my girls car got painted there. it was 800 and i gave them a shell. heres some pics

u can see that there isnt too much shine in the pic though that car should be shimmering hehe

 

sometimes they do somewhat of a decent job.. depends which earl **** u bring it to and who does the work... ive seen at least 10 of mine and my friend's cars get painted there.. ive seen shitty and somewhat decent paint jobs done by earl ****

 

my bro's got his painted there, and there was only a few flaws , but he complained and they fixed it.
did you pay before you saw the car? if you did, bad move

 

Damn, sux for your loss but cheap paint shops will own you like that.

 

what is that rear wheel? I have onyl seen low res pics of it.

That's an OEM optional wheel.

it shines some what decent in the light. the pic was taken in the shadow. you can see the sun hit the front.

its a white with a green pearl.

oh a little back ground on the paint

first job was 2 different colors. tols them and the resprayed it for free. second one had a run, they then resprayed it again for free. i guess the third time the charm

 

not bad... but yea, they really do have a bad job with runs. and overspray. although on yours it looks clean. how did u get it free warranty work?

 

just went to the office and said you guys fucked up. he asked wha happened and i told them it was 2 different colors and he said we will fix it. after that was fixed i went back and said there are runs. he said he will fix it. after that it was all good
