Default My EG, white dumped, lipped need wheel ideas

Just a few shots of my hatch, has front and rear abs "mugen" lip and "type-R" sides. I have 13in american racing 5 stars, on it and 17in ADR sokudos waiting for tires. However, thinking I'd rather do HXs. Also, needs a duckbill wing. Here it is, comments please...

and my white valve cover.. 8v baby! Y8 head on the way...

Looks to be in good shape. Take out the front lip, side skirts, and rear "lip" and your set. Keet it stock and lowered on some 15"s.

I agree, stock skirts and stock lips would look much better.

my thoughts exactly. you have a perfect platform to start with, just keep it clean.

What is wrong with PDXtuning? Have something against talented tuners? This is the PDXT delivery truck. Not ditching the lips or skirts, I like em. Think 17s are too much... they are just collecting dust.

Thing is, the 13s are light, very light. handles and rides awesome just looks... lame. But the performance is great. my 17s weigh 19lbs... I just hate to get rid of them as they are so cool... And yes I HATE the stock look. Big fat lips are cool... vulva style YO!!!

Performance is great? w/ 13x5 or less american racing wheels..those tires look like costco special man. What suspension do you have and whats your idea of handling great? car doesnt look that bad though.

My idea of performance... hmmm how about flat-out through the hills around the gorge. That dosen't mean anything to non-oregonians but for those who know... Yeah the tires are ****. I have omni-powers on stock shocks and since I have kept everything light it rides and corners very well. Haven't had it long enough to take it on the track or around the cones but I will soonish. Doubt all you want but with sticky tires I think this might be a great auto-x setup.

How so? adding a larger wheel will be more unsprung rotational mass. Granted the foot print will be smaller but the overall setup will be much lighter, so are you basing your argument on some sort of data or are you just on the bigger is better bandwagon? I am not convinced that a larger tire/wheel combo is what is needed. A stickier tire will do more than bigger wheels with the same compound. I bet the same compound on a 15in tire vs these little 13s around the cones would behave very similarly.

And yes they are fake moogen everything, abs is better than CF for body parts, more resistant to curbs. Why does everyone think bone stock cars look good? They look stock and plain and boring...
