What would each affect handling, if I only wanted to change one. I just bought an acura 1.6 EL and want to stiffen the suspension just a bit, without dropping it too much or at all. How would only upgrading the shocks affect the driving compared to putting in stiffer springs?

don't put stiffer springs on stock shocks. it will ride like a pogo stick

 

just get a set of Eibach Pro's if you do anything, very little drop with slight increase in spring rate. that or just save your money
