Default Can anyone tell me what these connectors are called?

I once used these connectors by 3m to install a head unit connecting the install harness to the reciever harness. They were plastic, you inserted the two wires into opposite ends, close the snaps which locked them in. Very easy, and they seemed to work fine. Anyone know the brand name, product name?

Actually, they're called scotchloks... And as previously stated, should be avoided.

You should be using a wiring harness adapter; unless, of course, you (or someone else) has already hacked off the plug.

scotchlocks are not a secure connection and will often lead to problems down the line, I.E. power cutting in and out.
