Default NHRA - Englishtown, NJ - May06 -PICTURES-

NHRA E-town is always a blast and this year was no different. Full fields in all classes made sure racing was none stop! In the Pro Rear Wheel drive class Brad Personett too home the Wally in the final against Teammate Gary White. Jason Hunt also took home the win this weekend, giving Ed Bergenholtz his first event loss of the season. Hot Rod saw Ron Lummus take home his Second Wally of the season, when he ran a solo run in the final. The Modified Class saw Local Jorge Lazcano in his ol’ skool 87’ RX7 threw down the record as he Dee Karagiannis. Lazcano ran a smoking 7.49 @ 180 mph. Again it was the Clutch Masters Crew holding it down for Pro All Motor, Sport FWD and Street All Motor! Norris took the Wally, running a 9.73 @ 139 mph. Mat Keller won in the Sport FWD class as Joe Simpson red lit and Loan Nguyen set he All Motor Street class record with a 11.98 @ 115mph

Well, heres some pics. Check it out, theres some attached pictures and of course links to the sets! Theres 273 pictures brought to you buy http://www.1320drag.net

First off, Great Pics

Secondly, Can someone exaplin to me this: Both days we were more than early and were one of the first few people to be at the track (2 SFWD cars) but, when we went to park in the "pro pits" we were rudely directed back out towards the bracket cars? I saw all kinds of other sportsman class racers in the pro pits along w/ some bracket cars. Is that the NHRA being biased toward n00b's?

Phil

Actually you can see smoke in the inlet for the turbo. Try to cover all your bases before you make a smart a$$ comment

We were having bad luck all weekend. The first pass of the day on sunday we blew the clutch up completely. Then Miller and Tom swapped the clutch out in about 40 mins w/ hand tools and when I lined up against lockett I blew the intercooler pipe right off of the throttle body. (one of the clamps were'nt tighten when the clutch was swapped out) I'll be there at Atco ready to go this time
