kinda scared :(
lol, i'm the same way, always thinking there's something weird going on with my car when there really isn't... anyway how are you sure it didn't make the TB into > the IM?? did you take the intake off with water in it, inspected the TB and it was bone dry?? how long after you "thought" you sucked up water up untill the point you took the intake off??
if your car is running fine i don't think you have anything to worry about

car still feels strong. i did check the TB and it was bone dry i think once the water got to it. it was to hot and the water went away... i might get a compression and leak down test soon. How much do they run for ?
Chances are, as **** of an owner as you appear to be, you'll be fine
You would know if there were issues due to water in your motor! If everything appears to be running fine i think its just in your imagination

Cam, did you drive through a puddle deep enough the submerge the entire filter? If not I wouldn't worry about it.
Where were you at when you did this?

if your R wasn't submerged in the water, i wouldn't worry about it too much. you're just imagining and being paranoid like many ITR owners.

lol yea im very paranoided since i spent so much money on the car
all my hard work lol ... it was not a pundle... my fender inner linning ( plastic ) came off and i think the wheel was spraying water all over the intake so it was sucking up water. i think that was the problem ... no puddles

If not, and you just drove it on flat pavment that was being rained on your fine, its all in your head.

Cam, I have noticed that my intake sounds different when it is wet outside. I have feared sucking up water in the past, but like Chad said, its a car man. Unless the entire filter is submerged in water, I think that the risk of sucking water into the engine is minimal. I have decided that its ok to drive the R in the rain, as long as it gets a nice bath the next day (under hood cleaning and undercar wash haha)
19th, 20th, and 21st for the install. Tuning is still questionable, but is planned for Wednesday the 24th. I might be going to Tulsa, want to go?
