which aftermarket thermostat for a dc2 is worth getting and what are the diffrences?
hi guys probly kinda stupid to ask but my thermostat is sticking and i have to replace it, i usually like to upgrade what i need to buy for my dc2 94 gs-r, is it worth getting one of those mugen or other aftermarket thermostats? what is the diffrence? i replaced it last year on my car with an oem one and it messed up again. any thoughts?
i heard those things are good but you have to replace the thermostat and the switch if i'm not mistaking how bout just putting an oem one back in man honestly you really don't need to replace it with a fancy one
mugen tstat is great, car runs noticably cooler, should get the thermoswitch for the fan as well tho.
It takes alot longer to warm up when its cold (40-)outside though.

get the itr thermostat. i think there pretty cheap and they keep it a little cooler
get an oem thermostat u need your motor to be running at just the right temp if not u will kill performance and u will start blowing black smoke as well as lose MPG's. i was running a 160 degree thermostat in my car and the temp dropped so much it made my AF's dip into the 10.0's which just made me shoot flames and the car would hesitate.
